As ever, we think that chef collaborations are something not to miss – it is on special occasions like these that you can find their food at its best. Plus, they are guaranteed to be in the kitchen and on song on such nights. And perhaps the innate competitive nature of these amazing people comes to the fore to ensure everything is perfect….

They also do not come better than this event on Monday 26 October, which has two Michelin greats bringing you a one-of-a-kind dining experience as Michelin-starred Pavyllon London brings its 2026 ‘Counter Culture’ chef collaboration series to a close for the year as Yannick Alléno – the world’s most Michelin-decorated chef – welcomes fellow Michelin heavyweight Jason Atherton to the Mayfair counter for an exclusive six-course menu.

Jason Atherton, a superstar since the late Pollen Street Social opened back in 2011, is currently at the helm of ROW on 5, one of London’s most talked-about restaurants and recipient of two Michelin stars earlier this year, and like Yannick Alléno is at the very top of his game. Now internationally famous and with restaurants in such enviable places as St. Moritz, Cebu, Dublin and Dubai, his unique approach and creativity has had an unquestionable influence on the modern restaurant world.

Yannick Alléno almost needs no introduction. is a French chef who operates the restaurants Pavillon Ledoyen and L’Abysse in Paris and Le 1947 in Courchevel. His restaurants have earned sixteen Michelin stars. Yannick’s signature French precision and technical mastery will meet Jason’s distinctly British approach to fine dining, with the two chefs also united by a shared passion for the bold, complex flavours of Asia and its diverse ingredients.

The menu will showcase standout dishes including Yannick Alléno’s King Crab Leg with farmhouse cream and nori broth and Jason Atherton’s A5 Kagoshima Wagyu Beef with preserved truffle sauce.

Set within the elegant surroundings of Pavyllon London at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, the open counter spanning the length of the restaurant gives diners a front-row view of the precision and theatre of the chefs at work firsthand, with the rare opportunity to engage with and meet the two culinary icons as they cook in full view of the restaurant.

Tickets are priced at £195pp, which is excellent value for an evening like this, with guests seated either at the counter or in the main dining room with views of the kitchen. There is also the option to add on a special sommelier-selected drinks pairing for £165pp. Can you think of a more special dinner with which to welcome in autumn?

Book here, with tables from 6pm: www.pavyllonlondon.com/event/counter-culture-jason-atherton-x-yannick-alleno/.
