Piers Morgan has urged Donald Trump to side with Ukraine and Volodymyr Zelensky in their war against Russia.
There have been strained tensions this week between Ukraine and the US as Trump has cosied up to Vladimir Putin with diesel deals and sham ‘energy ceasefire announcements.’
This was followed by restrictions being implemented on the Starlink internet network, disrupting Kyiv’s battlefield missions in a move widely believed to have been taken by the US government.
On Wednesday, Ukrainian president Zelensky appeared on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored programme, where he said he felt ‘betrayed’ by the US and Trump.

At the end of the interview, Morgan decided to deliver a message to Trump, urging him to side with Zelensky and the Ukrainian people.
He compared Trump’s recent actions to that of Neville Chamberlain in World War Two, when he took an appeasement approach to Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany.
Morgan said: “President Trump, do the right thing here. Siding with Vladimir Putin against this guy [Zelensky] and his country is the wrong thing.
‘It’s what we called in World War Two, appeasement to Hitler. Don’t be that guy. Give this guy the support he needs to defeat the modern-day Hitler.”
