A video has been going viral online of Tommy Robinson and Laurence Fox being defeated in a controversial debate on Islam at the Oxford Union.
In June, the far-right activist took on Palestinian student and Oxford Union president Arwa Elrayess at the famous debating society.
Robinson, real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, and Fox were speaking in favour of the motion “This House believes the West is right to be suspicious of Islam”.

But he was completely eviscerated by Elrayess, who took on his racist diatribe with facts and logic.
Elrayess was also joined by Jacob Rees-Mogg in speaking against the motion, with the former Tory MP laying into Robinson, Fox and their ilk.
The debate had caused huge controversy at the time, with protests against Robinson’s appearance taking place at the university and hundreds signing a letter against the decision to let him debate at the union.
In the end, Robinson’s motion was defeated by 57 votes to 41.
Although the debate took place in June, a compilation of the best moments has been going viral online, with many praising Elrayess for her performance.
Sharing the clip, one person said Elrayess “did Palestine and Britain proud.”
Another praised her and Rees-Mogg for ‘eviscerating’ Robinson and Fox.
A third said the far-right duo had been “cooked” by Elrayess.
