Clip of Sarah Pochin laughing at Starmer arson attacks resurfaces as Reform complain about MP safety

They don't seem too concerned about MP safety here...

A clip has resurfaced online of Reform MP Sarah Pochin smiling and laughing with Jeremy Kyle about the arson attack on a property linked to Keir Starmer.

In recent days, Reform have complained about the safety of their MPs, particularly party leader Nigel Farage.

This is in the wake of the alleged murder of Ann Widdecombe, who was found dead in her Dartmoor home with serious injuries.

Since the shocking news emerged, there has been much debate about the safety of MPs and politicians in the UK.

Reform in particular have spoken at length about the issue, with the party’s home affairs spokesman Zia Yusuf announcing this week that if Reform got into power they would provide every Westminster MP with “round-the-clock protection.”

Yusuf said Reform have estimated the policy would cost £100m and would also involve protection being provided to former politicians still active in public life.

Speaking on Tuesday, Yusuf claimed language used by other parties about Reform was putting their MPs at risk, and that Farage “lives his life under the ever-present threat of mortal danger.”

But perhaps some Reform MPs should practice what they preach.

Following Yusuf’s comments, a clip was reshared online in which Reform MP Sarah Pochin and Talk host and Reform supporter Jeremy Kyle were discussing the Keir Starmer-linked arson attacks.

Two men were jailed for conspiring to carry out arson attacks targeting property and a car connected to Sir Keir.

But when Pochin and Kyle discussed the topic last month, neither seemed particularly concerned about the safety threat to the prime minister.

As Kyle explained the case in a mocking tone, Pochin started smiling, with both agreeing that something was being hidden from the public about the crime.

“There’s something a bit murky about it — information is missing,” the Runcorn and Helsby MP said.

Resharing the clip this week, journalist Andy Twelves noted the hypocrisy from Reform.

He wrote: “Given Reform’s Press Conference today about MP safety, worth revisiting this clip of sitting Reform MP Sarah Pochin, and Reform supporter Jeremy Kyle laughing on TV at the firebombing of the Prime Minister’s house…”

Remember when Reform MP Sarah Pochin revealed her true colours….laughing at the firebombing of Starmer’s house by two men recruited by the Russian state?

The safety of MPs generally is a relatively new found concern for Farage if you judge by his MP’s actions https://t.co/r7rab4YU13
