The days of Reform polling around 30% seem a long time ago don’t they? If you were in any doubt about that being the party’s peak, that surely is cast aside now. Now, it feels like their ceiling is 25%, after months of controversy surrounding the party and its leader Nigel Farage.
As questions continue to swirl around his crypto tycoon backers, £5m gift and security arrangements, Farage decided to distract everyone by stepping down as an MP last week.
Well, if he hoped this would result in a surge in support for him and his party, he was mistaken.
The latest YouGov polling has seen the party suffer a one point drop in support, down to 24%.

Interestingly, there were also drops in support for the Tories and Labour, as the ‘Burnham bounce’ Labour were enjoying seems to have gone a bit flat.
There is one party who will be encouraged by YouGov’s latest findings though: the Greens.
After having a new leader bounce themselves last year, followed by the stunning win in Gorton and Denton, the party have moved away from the spotlight slightly in recent months, resulting in their polling numbers steadying in the low teens.
But this poll sees them rise by two points, up to 15%.
Zack Polanski and co. may well be hoping that voters swayed by Andy Burnham’s return to parliament return to the green side of town after he becomes prime minister next week.
And maybe spare a thought for Your Party. When Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana announced they were setting up a new left-wing party last summer, there was much excitement about the prospect.
But the chaotic launch and infighting has kneecapped the party, who sit on 0% a year on from its founding.
Although, as we’ve previously suggested, the party’s awkward beginnings may end up being its greatest strength.
