A third of Reform voters think that climate change has had absolutely nothing to do with the extreme temperatures in the UK this summer.
Over the last three months, the country has experienced record-breaking heat and prolonged dry weather. This has resulted in wildfires tearing through parts of the country and droughts being declared across all of Wales and most of England.
The vast majority of the scientific community is in agreement that these conditions are the clear result of climate change, and things are only likely to get worse and more extreme over the coming years.
But still, it seems plenty of Brits need some convincing.

Polling from More in Common has found that, on the whole, the vast majority of Brits think climate change is at least party responsible for the heatwaves this summer.
However, 14% think the heatwaves have had nothing to do with climate change. Unsurprisingly, it is right-wing voters who are most dismissive of climate change, but Reform are still the clear outlier.
Whilst 15% of Conservative voters think climate change is “not responsible at all” for the heatwaves, this rises to 32% for Reform voters.
It’s no secret of course that Reform are the most climate-change-sceptic and anti-net zero party in British politics.
Nigel Farage has been vocal in the past about his views on climate change and Reform have previously accepted millions in donations from fossil fuel interests, polluting industries, and climate science deniers.
