Yet another poll has seen Reform’s lead at the top slashed, thanks to both a drop in support for the party and an increase in support for Labour.
Over the last week, a number of dramatic polls have been released suggesting that Reform are suffering another polling slide, perhaps prompted by the continuing controversy over Nigel Farage’s secret £5m payment from a crypto billionaire.
At the same time, Labour seem to be experiencing something of a ‘Burnham bounce,’ with the Makerfield MP seemingly destined for a full-blown coronation as the new Labour leader and prime minister in just a matter of weeks.
Over the weekend, two polls showed jumps in support for Labour and drops for Reform, whilst polls asking people how they would vote if Burnham was Labour leader have put the party top.
Now, YouGov have become the latest pollster to show that there might be a sea change taking place in British politics.

In polling released this week, YouGov reported a one point drop in support for Reform along with a two point jump for Labour.
With no change in support for the Conservatives, this puts the two traditional parties in Britain just four points adrift of Reform.
Perhaps it won’t be too long before we see Reform knocked off the polling perch they’ve occupied for so many months.
